When Prehistoric Pets first opened its doors as Pet Country in 1988, our mission was clear: to
provide the community with access to a wide variety of traditional pets and exotic animals,
supported by knowledgeable care and a passion for responsible ownership.
As interest in reptiles and other unique species grew, we expanded our vision.In 1997, we
introduced Jurassic Parties, an educational outreach program designed to inspire curiosity and promote understanding of reptiles from around the world.
Through interactive, hands-on reptile presentations, our goal has always been to increase public
respect for these incredible creatures while offering safe, memorable learning experiences for
schools, birthday parties, and community events.
Our team of trained animal educators brings interactive, educational experiences to homes, schools, parks, and businesses across Orange and Los Angeles counties.
